Dreaming is one of the most mysterious experiences in our lives. They’re images, emotions, ideas, and unique sensations that occur involuntarily in the mind during our sleeping hours. The purpose of dreaming isn’t really definitively understood though, but they have been an interesting topic of scientific speculation, as well religious and philosophical interest.
As surprising as it may seem, during the Roman Era, some were even submitted to the Roman Senate so that they could analyze, interpret, and translate these dreams. Back then they were thought to be messages from the gods.

4. Not Everybody Dreams in Color
A full 12% of sighted people dream exclusively in black and white. The rest dream in full color. Studies from 1915 have maintained that the majority of dreams come in black and white, but results started to change around the 1960s. Today, only 4.4% of the dreams of under-25 year olds are in black and white.
Recent research has suggested that those changing results may have been connected to us switching from black and white to color-shown media.
